Registration Procedures For Enrolment in Carpe Diem Centres
Please take note of the following before completing the Registration form:
- Your child must be between 18 months and 6 years old for admission to the centre. Children below 18 months may be admitted upon application to and approval by MCYS, on a case-by-case basis.
- If your child is not a Singaporean/ Permanent Resident, you may have to apply for a Student Pass for admission. Please refer to the centre administrator for details. Please note that you child is eligible for the Government subsidy only if your child is a Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident. For working mother, the subsidy is given only if the mother satisfies the employment critieria.
The Government has decided to withdraw the centre-based child care subsidy for Singapore Permanent Resident (PR) children aged 2 months to below 7 years.
This withdrawal will be done within the next two years in two phases :
Phase 1 :
From 1 Jan 2008, PR children will only be eligible for half the current child care subsidy; and
Phase 2 :
From 1 Jan 2009, PR children will not be eligible for child care subsidy.
- Admission of child is subjected to the availability of vacancies at the respective programmes and levels.
- Admission of child is subjected to the availability of vacancies at the respective programmes and levels.
The Registration Form must be completed and submitted with the following documents where applicable:
- Child's Birth Certificate
- NRIC of both parents
- Mother's employment proof
- Document of proof of Permanent Resident status (if applicable). For example Entry Permit/ Re-entry Permit/ Passport of Certificate of Citizenship.
- Student's Pass of foreigners (if applicable)
- Health Booklet: Page on immunisation record and page on child's birth order
- Completed application form for Giro deduction from Banks or CDA account
