Schoolhouse
was
started in early 2002 at 144
Jalan Jurong Kechil by Francis
Ng. When he first took over
the centre, there were only 28
children and the premise
allows a capacity of 42
children. By the end 2002,
Francis took over the
neighbouring premise and
increased the total capacity
for the centre to 76. Most of
our new enrolments were from
referrals by the parents of
our existing children.
The Extended Family

In
August 2003, Francis together
with ex-colleague and now
partner Christine Yeo started
scouting around for another
centre to take over. In
October 2003, the deal was
signed to take over a void
deck centre, Miniland Child
Care Centre located in Bukit
Batok. The official day of
take over was 1st Jan 2004.
Carpe Diem Kinder Kids Pte
Ltd
In
December 04, we took over
another childcare centre
located in Telok Kurau. We
managed to retain most of the
existing children, redecorated
the place and moved in
additional materials much to
the delight of the children
and parents. No efforts have
been spared to ensure that the
Carpe
Diem
standard is upheld.

Diem Kidsworld Pte Ltd
In
Feb 05, the deal to take over
yet another childcare centre
was signed. This centre is
located in Jurong West. The
staff, children and parents
were all excited about the
change.

Diem Kidz
In
Jun 05, we started another
centre. Carpe
Diem
Kidz is located at Royal Road
just off Alexandra Road. It is
an old colonial bungalow
boasting a beautiful outdoor
play area where the children
get to enjoy the sunshine and
get in touch with their
naturalistic side in the
garden.

Diem Childcare Resort
In
Aug 05, we took over another
centre that basically took our
breaths away with it's expanse
of wide open area and its
resort like setting. Located
at Punggol, this centre is by
the seaside. Comprising of a
bungalow and a smaller
structure that used to be a
maid's quarters, with wide
open fields and a swimming
pool.

Diem Young Minds
In
Oct 05, we took over a centre
in Tampines. With the same
enthusiasm and sincerity, we
managed to win the parents
over. No expense has be spared
in providing the children with
the appropriate materials for
their development.

Diem Playskool
In
Nov 05, another void deck
centre was born. This centre,
located at Yung Ho road is a
void deck centre with a
difference. Most void deck
childcare will have limited
outdoor facilities. But Carpe
Diem
Playskool is strategically
located at a block next to a
residential park with BBQ
pits, amphitheatre, low hedge
maze, children's playground as
well as an exercise area.
